Hello/marhaban everyone! I have just returned from a month long journey of Egypt. In the next few blogs, I will share some of my experiences of Egypt with you so that you might like to visit the country yourself or just know more about it. This is the second time I have been there and I was able to do much more.
The first great experience was visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world: the pyramids known as the Al-ahramaat. When we got to Giza, where the pyramids are located, on a Friday morning, we immediately felt the heat from the empty desert surrounding the pyramids (temperature was over 40 degrees!). Luckily, we were able to go around each of the 3 main pyramids on a horse carriage (rather than walk in that blazing sun), eagerly taking as many photos as possible. We were simply awe-struck by these large ancient tombs! Did you know that it took more than 100,00 people to build these pyramids?
